McKenzie Pride Version 2.0
The
McKenzie Pride program was founded in 2003 by local businesses to help McKenzie
Career Center promote it's wonderful curriculum in academic and vocational
education. The first project also honored Bernard McKenzie, who passed in 2003.

The goal
of this program is to promote community awareness of McKenzie Career Center and
it's programs. Project 101 provided a McKenzie Pride T-shirt for each student
and staff member.
McKenzie Pride Days were held each week throughout the year (students and staff
proudly wearing their McKenzie Pride T-shirt) with the goal of promoting our
McKenzie Pride to Lawrence Central and Lawrence North students
and the
community. We wanted to prompt questions like: what is McKenzie?, what courses
does McKenzie offer?, and most importantly- how do I become a McKenzie student?
All T-shirts display the McKenzie Pride logo on the front and the web
address and program sponsors on the back. Show your support of education and
sign-up today to sponsor McKenzie Pride Version 2.0. We will pursue donations
for this program from January 1, 2007 through February 15, 2007. By March 1,
1300 T-shirts will be created with a new logo and the same goal, to promote
awareness of McKenzie Career Center in the community.... AND to promote the
generous businesses who support this program.
Also Anchor and Gold
sponsors will have their name on the lighted sign in front of the school-- as an
additional thank you for your support!

McKenzie Pride program, please feel free to contact me via telephone or email.
